KARANGASEM, balitourismnow.com – Renowned hospitality photographer Rusdi Sanad led an inspiring photography workshop titled “The Art of Visual Storytelling” for the Ramayana Experience team at their stunning seaside resort, Ramayana Candidasa.
The event, which took place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, was attended by the Sales & Marketing team, Resort Managers, and other Department Heads, who gathered to gain new perspectives on the importance of visual branding in today’s hospitality industry.
With decades of experience shaping the visual identities of hotels and resorts, Rusdi Sanad emphasized that imagery is more than just an image—it is the gateway that defines how guests perceive a brand.
“I have been involved in the visual storytelling of hotels and resorts for many years, and now I want to give back to the community,” said Rusdi.
Visual marketing has become an open gateway to discovering what guests will experience when they book a hotel. “This is the first impression, and it builds trust between a brand and its audience,” said Rusdi, along with Kiky Ramadhanissa, Co-Founder of Rusdi Sanad Photography.
Kiky, who previously worked in hotel marketing and branding, highlighted the workshop’s deeper message: that visual branding isn’t just a cost, but an investment.
“Every team member is a marketer in their respective departments. Branding isn’t just the responsibility of Sales & Marketing—it’s a shared vision across the hotel,” Kiky said.
This workshop comes at a crucial moment as Ramayana Experience embarks on a brand repositioning journey, starting with a renewed commitment to visual storytelling.
By holding the session in the tranquil setting of Ramayana Candidasa, participants were able to fully immerse themselves in the importance of authentic visual narratives.
