Utama Spice Strengthens Impact: Commitment to People, Planet, and Purpose

DENPASAR, balitourismnow.com – Utama Spice, a Balinese wellness brand inspired by nature, tradition, and community, continues to strengthen its purpose-driven mission with initiatives that reflect a genuine commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

In line with the global Plastic Free July movement, the brand is reinforcing its guiding philosophy of “For People, For Planet, For Us” through concrete actions that demonstrate how thoughtful choices can make a meaningful impact.

“At Utama Spice, ‘For People, For Planet, For Us’ aren’t just words—they’re guiding principles that shape every decision we make and every product we create,” said Ria Templer, President Director of Spice, in a press release on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Utama Spice recently joined similar companies, including Jakarta-based makeup brand Armando Caruso and women’s and children’s clothing business Indigo Kids, in supporting the Bali Street Mums Foundation.

Bali Street Mums Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable women and children break out of the cycle of poverty, is proud to be part of the Bali Street Mums Foundation. “The Bali-based wellness brand marks Plastic-Free July with powerful initiatives reflecting its philosophy: For People, For Earth, For Us,” she said.

Together, the group provides a wide range of essentials, including food, sanitary supplies, clothing, personal care products, and furniture.

“As a purpose-driven and people-powered company, we believe that true success is measured not only by profits, but also by the positive impact we leave,” added Ria Templer.

This donation reflects Utama Spice’s ethos that its responsibility as a brand extends beyond the environment to addressing social issues and supporting those most in need.

At the same time, Utama Spice is taking concrete steps to protect the planet through its new partnership with Seven Clean Seas, an organization dedicated to eliminating plastic waste from the environment.

As part of its efforts to transform everyday purchases into a force for good, Utama Spice is now funding the removal of 30 grams of plastic for every plastic bottle sold, the equivalent of removing two plastic bottles from the ocean for every purchase.

Utama Spice’s commitment to the planet has always gone beyond sustainable ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. This latest initiative reinforces the brand’s belief that business can and should be a tool for environmental recovery.

“These values aren’t aspirational—they’re operational,” said Nyoman, President Director of Spice.
