JARD’OR — A New French Culinary Destination in Bali: Experience the Ambience and Flavours of Europe

JARD’OR serves a variety of carefully curated classic French dishes, making it the perfect place to experience the ambiance and flavors of Europe before actually traveling to France or strolling through the streets of Paris.

“When we created JARD’OR, our goal was to bring the spirit of French cuisine while respecting the traditions and techniques that define its authenticity. We present the flavors of classic French cooking in a luxurious and intimate setting,” Sebastian explained.

One of JARD’OR’s highlights is its combination of classic French Riviera techniques with the finest seasonal ingredients from Indonesia.

 

The menu is served either in perfectly air-conditioned dinning room or in in a tranquil garden setting, offering a relaxed lunch experience, a laid-back afternoon, and elegant dinners paired with wines carefully selected by the sommelier.

 JARD’OR delivers an exceptional hospitality experience throughout the day. Guests can enjoy freshly baked croissants and house-made baguettes, elegant multi-course dinners with sommelier-guided wine pairing, as well as a charming garden bar serving crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and a curated selection of fine cigars.

Sebastian added that JARD’OR’s menu is inspired by classical French techniques, reinterpreted using local seafood and carefully selected vegetables and fruits. Signature dishes highlight balance and precision—from the delicate Saint Jacques appetizer to the show-stopping Beef en Croûte.

“French cuisine is deeply rooted in tradition and technique. What matters most is attention to detail —because it is the small elements in cooking, service, and the overall experience that truly create a memorable dining moment,” Sebastian noted.

 

French cuisine is best enjoyed with wine to discover deeper layers of flavor. This philosophy is reflected in the beverage program curated by I Putu Erawan Ari Widhinatika, JARD’OR’s sommelier and the winner of the Bali Sommelier Championship 2025.

Ari specializes in curating wine lists and designing wine pairing experiences to complement every dish perfectly. “Our bar team also presents classic cocktails and signature creations designed to complement both the menu and the garden atmosphere of JARD’OR,” he said.

 

The setting further enhances the dining experience. The Garden Lounge, a serene garden space at JARD’OR, transforms into an atmospheric lounge after dinner, featuring curated music and a resident DJ in the evening. It is an elegant venue suitable for business meetings or relaxed gatherings.
