Bali Fashion Parade 2025: Participated by 25 Designers, Showcasing 300 Outfits and Involving 150 Models

MANGUPURA, balitourismnow.com – The Bali Fashion Parade (BFP) is back. One of Bali’s largest fashion events, it features dozens of professional models, designers, and renowned brands from Bali, Jakarta, and abroad.

The Bali Fashion Parade 2025 is held annually by YMM Event Organizer and supported by YMM Model Management under PT. Bali Anugrah Mega Gemilang. This year marks the fourth BFP.

“The Bali Fashion Parade 2025 is being held to recognize Bali not only as a tourist destination but also as a fashion icon capable of competing on the global stage,” said YMM Owner & Director of PT. Bali Anugrah Mega Gemilang, Yongki Perdana, at a press conference at TS Suites, Seminyak, Bali, Tuesday, September 19, 2025.

The press conference, attended by dozens of media outlets and fashion enthusiasts, marked the milestone opening of Bali’s largest fashion celebration. The event introduced the designers, partners, and key figures shaping the grand narrative of BFP 2025.

The event also discussed the main themes, runway concepts, and strategic collaborations designed to position Bali as a world-class fashion destination. “This is a moment of shared vision—to create a fashion parade that is visually captivating, culturally meaningful, and socially impactful,” Yongki Perdana emphasized.

The 2025 Bali Fashion Parade presents a fresher atmosphere than previous years. In addition to being held over two days at two iconic locations, this year’s BFP is fully supported by the Bali Provincial Government through the Bali Provincial Council of National Craftsmen (Dekranasda).

This year, BFP featured 25 designers and brands from Bali, Jakarta, and abroad, showcasing approximately 300 pieces on the runway, with 150 models ranging from children and teenagers to professional adults.

BFP began with the selection of Icon & Teaser Models to introduce the selected models who will represent the spirit and face of this year’s Bali Fashion Parade. BFP Model Search 2025 (Online) is a talent search event. The BFP Model Search serves as a prestigious platform to showcase talent, build confidence, and foster the dedication of the next generation in the fashion industry.

The main criteria include attractive appearance, well-proportioned physique, strong character, and the potential to shine on local and international stages. “Participants are judged not only on their appearance, but also on the opportunity to learn directly from professionals, the opportunity to walk in major fashion shows, and a solid industry network,” said Yongki Perdana.

The Bali Fashion Parade 2025 aims to motivate, provide space, and support designers and models to express their work to the fullest.

This year’s theme is “Cultural Awakening,” reflecting the spirit of cultural revival and preservation, reinterpreted through the lens of modern fashion.

It’s not just about showcasing beautiful clothes, but about bringing the stories, identities, and noble values of cultural heritage to the world stage.

Yongki Perdana said, “Cultural Awakening” means reviving Nusantara Heritage by showcasing traditional textiles, ethnic patterns, handicrafts, and cultural philosophies—packaged with a contemporary touch to remain relevant in today’s global era.

Furthermore, the blending of tradition and modernity encourages designers to explore how tradition meets innovation—handwoven fabrics combined with modern cuts, batik reinterpreted in international silhouettes, and traditional accessories elevated into high-end fashion looks.

Local Identity on the Global Stage, BFP makes Bali (and Indonesia) not just an observer, but a key player in the global fashion industry, with cultural richness as its main strength.

BFP mission is to educate and appreciate young people, designers, and fashion lovers, to not only wear but also understand the meaning behind each piece—ensuring that culture is not just a passing trend, but a living legacy.

“Essentially, ‘Cultural Awakening’ is a call to return to cultural roots, while stepping confidently into the future of global fashion,” concluded Yongki Perdana.
