MANGUPURA, balitourismnow.com — KLEO Seminyak, the first JdV by Hyatt hotel in Southeast Asia, officially celebrated its Grand Opening on September 18, marking its inauguration as a destination blending design, taste, and community in Bali’s most dynamic area.
More than just a ribbon-cutting, the September 18 celebration brought together local creative minds and the wider Seminyak community.

Since its opening, the Grand Opening has brought together valued partners, media, community leaders, and travel collaborators to experience the playful yet soulful world of KLEO.
The event featured DJ and saxophone performances, cabaret performances, and acrobatic displays, creating a lively atmosphere that highlighted KLEO’s creative spirit and its role as a vibrant hub for the neighborhood.
The culinary highlights were presented by Zia Tina and Rooftop Social. In the evening, Zia Tina treated guests to wood-fired pizzas, a nod to Chef Maurizio’s southern Italian roots, while Rooftop Social served cocktails against the backdrop of Seminyak’s famous golden sunsets.
Beyond the event, Zia Tina channeled the warmth of Puglia through handmade pasta and farm-to-table dishes, while Rooftop Social reimagined the Riviera-style retreat with a retro-modern design and a cool poolside atmosphere, and the venue was also open to the public.
In addition to these experiences, the Grand Opening also featured KLEO Neighbors: Eazy Bar, Take-it-Eazy Neighbor; Deli Island, Smoky Neighbor; and Seasalt Seminyak, KLEO’s Coastal Favorite Restaurant.
This collaboration highlights KLEO’s bond with its community, culminating in a rooftop sunset celebration that embodies the property’s spirit of Joie de Vivre (joy of life).
Each of the 60 rooms continues this journey, created as a “fragrant love letter to the soul of Seminyak.”
Bold mid-century modern design blends with eclectic colors and Zen-inspired bathrooms, while sculptural wall art, unexpected pops of color, and locally inspired amenities are curated to spark joy and connection.
