The “Palette Fusion – Bridging Cultures” international art exhibition successfully concluded on 5th February 2025, at ARMA Museum, Ubud, Bali, after five days of artistic and cultural exchange between India and Indonesia.
Organized by Arth Art International in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, and ARMA Museum, the exhibition brought together 11 Indian and 8 Indonesian artists.
It showcased a diverse collection of paintings, from traditional folk art to contemporary abstract pieces, highlighting the shared cultural heritage and artistic influences between the two nations.
The exhibition begun with a grand ceremony on 1st February 2025 featuring Kathak-Balinese dance fusion and speeches from notable figures, including Dr. Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India in Bali; who expressed his heartfelt felicitations and best wishes to all participating artists and organizers of the event.
He hoped that art enthusiasts will continue to join the remarkable journey of artistic confluence and discovery for India, Indonesia and beyond.
During his remarks, Anak Agung Gde Rai, founder of ARMA Museum, mentioned that “Art is Alive.” Indonesian Art Curator Maria Tiwi further stressed the vital role of fostering international artistic collaborations.
Meanwhile, Ir. Cokorda Gede Bagus Lesmana, Head of the Culture Office of Gianyar Regency, conveyed that the local government was pleased with the organization of the event and offered their support for any initiative at strengthening the bond between the two countries.
The event provided a platform for artists, collectors, and cultural enthusiasts to engage in dialogue, enhancing ties between the Indian and Indonesian art communities.
Beyond the exhibition, “Palette Fusion” has sparked interest in further artistic collaborations between the two countries, with discussions underway for expanding the initiative across Southeast Asia.
