SCOP3 Expands Hospitality Portfolio with Four New Partnerships

JAKARTA, balitourismnow.com — Indonesia-based hospitality, lifestyle and tourism communications agency SCOP3 Group is expanding its regional portfolio with four new partnerships spanning Singapore, West Java and Central Java.

The new appointments include Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in Singapore, Hilton Padalarang Bandung, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis and KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang. The four properties represent a diverse range of hospitality offerings, from an integrated resort and international hotel brands to a nature-focused highland retreat and an independent luxury hotel rooted in local culture and heritage.

The expansion comes as SCOP3 continues to broaden its work across hospitality, travel and destination communications, connecting international and Indonesian brands with audiences in Indonesia.

The agency’s latest portfolio growth follows its recognition at the Indonesia PR of the Year 2026 Awards, where SCOP3 was named a winner in the Marketing PR Program category for its campaign with the Saudi Tourism Authority in August 2026.

According to SCOP3 Director Ronald Liem, the increasingly competitive hospitality and travel landscape means brands need to communicate more than their products and facilities.

“Hospitality and travel are becoming increasingly competitive, and simply being visible is no longer enough,” Liem said. “Brands need to understand why they are relevant to a particular audience, what makes their story distinctive and how to translate that into conversations people genuinely want to engage with.”

Resorts World Sentosa Targets Indonesian Travellers

One of SCOP3’s newest regional partnerships is with Resorts World Sentosa, the 49-hectare integrated resort on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.

The resort is currently undergoing its RWS 2.0 transformation, which brings together new and evolving attractions, hotels, dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences.

Indonesia is among RWS’ top three priority source markets, making the Indonesian market an important focus as the resort introduces new experiences and continues to evolve its positioning.

The development includes attractions such as Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, the expanded Singapore Oceanarium, lifestyle destination WEAVE and The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort.

For Indonesian travellers who are already familiar with Singapore and Sentosa, SCOP3’s communications programme will focus on showcasing new reasons to revisit the destination. The strategy will connect the resort’s developments with broader travel trends, including family holidays, experiential tourism, luxury hospitality, dining, lifestyle and entertainment.

Hilton Expands into West Bandung

In West Java, Hilton Padalarang Bandung represents the debut of Hilton’s flagship brand in West Bandung.

Located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, the 218-room hotel is approximately 10 minutes from Padalarang Whoosh high-speed rail station and around 30 minutes from central Bandung.

The property’s arrival coincides with the continued development of the wider West Bandung area. In addition to accommodation, Hilton Padalarang Bandung features four dining venues, wellness and family facilities, with meeting and event spaces also planned.

The development provides an opportunity to highlight Padalarang as more than a gateway to Bandung, while drawing attention to its emerging role as a leisure and business destination.

Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis Highlights Nature and Wellness

At Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis, the focus shifts towards nature, wellness and family experiences.

Located in the highlands of Bogor, the resort offers a range of facilities designed around its natural surroundings, including Mahoni Eco-Park, an organic herbs and spices garden, Terra Kids Club, Angsana Spa, outdoor yoga and four swimming pools.

Its proximity to Gunung Geulis Country Club also adds to the resort’s appeal as a highland retreat within reach of Jakarta.

SCOP3 will develop communications around the resort’s nature-led positioning, highlighting opportunities for guests to reconnect with their surroundings while combining leisure, wellness and family experiences.

KoenoKoeni Brings Semarang Heritage into Contemporary Hospitality

In Semarang, KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang adds a cultural and heritage dimension to SCOP3’s growing portfolio.

The hotel traces its origins to a gallery café featuring historically significant antique collections, with its identity built around craftsmanship and the stories embedded in objects passed down through generations.

The 111-room small luxury hotel translates that heritage into a contemporary hospitality experience envisioned as a “portal through time,” combining historical references with modern comfort.

Its dining offerings include Roepa Rasa, Sapa Rasa and rooftop restaurant and bar Soeara Langit, alongside wellness, leisure and event facilities.

Together, these elements form part of the hotel’s effort to create an experience closely connected to Semarang’s cultural identity.

Building Long-Term Relevance for Hospitality Brands

The four new partnerships reflect the increasingly diverse communications needs of hospitality and tourism brands. Travellers today are exposed to a wide range of destinations, hotels, restaurants, experiences and lifestyle offerings, making sustained relevance an important part of destination and hospitality marketing.

For SCOP3, this means moving beyond individual announcements and short-term campaigns to develop narratives that can remain relevant to audiences over time.

“Every hospitality brand has something different at the heart of its story, whether that is the transformation of a destination, the character of its surroundings, the heritage behind a concept or a new way of experiencing a familiar place,” Liem said.

“Our role is to identify that relevance and bring it to the right audiences in a way that feels genuine to the brand and meaningful to the people we are speaking to.”

With the addition of Resorts World Sentosa, Hilton Padalarang Bandung, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis and KoenoKoeni Hotel Semarang, SCOP3’s portfolio now spans integrated resorts, international hotel brands, luxury resorts, independent hotels and tourism destinations.

The agency’s services include strategic communications, public relations, media engagement, destination positioning, influencer engagement and Indonesian market insights, with a focus on helping hospitality and tourism brands build stronger and more sustained connections with their target audiences.
