Hilton Padalarang Bandung Opens, Bringing a New International Stay Experience to West Bandung

BANDUNG, balitourismnow.com — West Bandung has welcomed a new international hotel with the opening of Hilton Padalarang Bandung, marking the debut of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand in the area and the third Hilton property in Indonesia.

Located in Kota Baru Parahyangan, the 218-room hotel offers travellers a convenient base for exploring West Bandung and the wider Bandung area. The property is just 10 minutes from Padalarang Whoosh high-speed rail station and around 30 minutes by car from Bandung city centre.

Its location also puts guests within easy reach of Kota Baru Parahyangan’s lifestyle and leisure attractions, including shopping destinations, an 18-hole golf course and a family-friendly water park.

For travellers arriving from Jakarta, the proximity to the Whoosh station makes Padalarang an increasingly accessible gateway to Bandung and its surrounding attractions.

A Contemporary Stay Inspired by West Bandung

Hilton Padalarang Bandung features 218 guestrooms and suites, including 17 pairs of connecting rooms. The interiors combine contemporary design with elements inspired by West Bandung’s natural landscape, using earthy tones, organic patterns and natural light.

Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the guestrooms and public areas offer views of the surrounding mountains and greenery, creating a sense of connection with the destination.

The hotel also offers a range of facilities designed for both relaxation and family stays, including a heated infinity pool, fitness centre equipped with Technogym equipment, spa and kids club.

The spa features Indonesian-inspired treatments drawing from traditional healing practices in Java and Bali. Guests can choose from signature treatments such as the Harmony Rejuvenation Ritual and Eternity Serenity Ritual, available for both individuals and couples.

Four Dining Experiences Under One Roof

Food and beverage is another part of the hotel experience, with four dining venues offering different settings throughout the day.

AMALA serves Indonesian and international cuisine from breakfast through dinner, while DRIP offers specialty coffee, pastries and light bites in a relaxed setting suited to casual meetings and gatherings.

At the poolside, SOL combines light meals and refreshments with panoramic views of West Bandung. Meanwhile, BARA, scheduled to open in September 2026, will offer cocktails, wines and signature drinks in a more intimate setting for evening gatherings.

Designed for Business, Celebrations and Events

Beyond leisure stays, Hilton Padalarang Bandung is also positioned to cater to meetings, weddings and social events.

More than 850 square metres of meeting and event space is scheduled to debut by the end of 2026. The facilities will include a pillarless ballroom with a built-in LED display, naturally lit meeting rooms and a spacious pre-function area.

A multifunctional rooftop venue with 180-degree views of West Bandung will provide another setting for private celebrations, wellness activities and social gatherings. Two wedding chapels will also be available for ceremonies ranging from intimate celebrations to larger occasions.

“The opening of Hilton Padalarang Bandung reflects our long-term vision to strengthen the greater Bandung region as a world-class destination. In partnership with Hilton, we are proud to introduce an internationally recognised hospitality brand that will support tourism, business growth and investment in West Bandung, creating lasting value for the destination and communities it serves,” said E. Aditya Suriadi, Executive Director of PT Layana Buana Hotelindo.

A New Gateway to Bandung

The opening comes as connectivity between Jakarta, Bandung and surrounding destinations continues to evolve, giving travellers more options to explore beyond the city centre.

“Indonesia continues to be one of Hilton’s most important growth markets in Southeast Asia, supported by strong travel demand and continued investment in infrastructure,” said Alexandra Murray, Area Vice President and Regional Head, South East Asia, Hilton.

“As an important gateway city that is increasingly well connected to Jakarta and destinations beyond, Bandung is well positioned to welcome a growing mix of business and leisure travellers.”

With its proximity to the Whoosh high-speed rail station, access to Kota Baru Parahyangan’s leisure attractions and convenient connection to central Bandung, Hilton Padalarang Bandung offers travellers another base from which to discover the region.

For guests looking to combine city exploration with a more relaxed stay outside Bandung’s centre, the new hotel brings together accommodation, dining, wellness, recreation and events in one destination.

Guests can also enjoy the benefits of Hilton Honors, Hilton’s guest loyalty programme, when booking directly through Hilton’s preferred channels. Benefits include member discounts, points earning opportunities and complimentary standard Wi-Fi.

To mark the opening, Hilton Honors members can earn an additional 1,000 points per night, along with a complimentary one-category room upgrade or 25% savings on their next eligible stay at the hotel when booking directly with Hilton. The offer is available for stays booked between 1 August 2026 and 31 January 2027. [oko]
