BPD IHKA Bali Kicks Off 2026 Agenda with Joint Prayer at Pura Mengening GIANYAR

GIANYAR, balitourismnow.com – The Indonesian Housekeeper’s Association (IHKA) Bali officially kicked off its 2026 agenda with a melukat and joint prayer ceremony at Pura Mengening, Tampak Siring, on Saturday, January 3, 2025.

The event, led by the Parahyangan Team, was a gesture of gratitude for the programs implemented in 2025 and a collective prayer for the smooth execution of future plans.

The spiritual event was attended by IHKA Bali members and supported by partners and vendors, including Alga, King Koil, and Duta Orchid.

“We hope this spiritual gathering strengthens synergy, unity, and collaboration between IHKA Bali and its partners,” said I Gede Cahaya Adi Putra, Chair of BPD IHKA Bali.

The event was part of IHKA Bali’s preparations for the International Making Bed Competition, Conference & Exhibition in early June 2026, aiming to involve ASEAN Housekeeper’s Association (AHKA) members and all IHKA Indonesia.

The event will invite IHKA from across Indonesia (26 BPD IHKA) and 7 countries. Previously involving 5 countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Singapore), this year adding Maldives and Sri Lanka.

“We bring international participants to broaden our members’ insights, making IHKA Indonesia more globally aware and able to provide the best service,” he said.

“In 2026, we thank vendors supporting our activities through this prayer and melukat ceremony,” he said.

Ida Bagus Suamba, Chair of the Parahyangan Division, hoped IHKA would remain united and synergistic in 2026, helping Bali’s tourism recover and thrive.
